About Us
Our Story
Fruition was founded in 2016 with a clear purpose: to bring high-calibre recruitment and talent advisory expertise to Geelong, delivered with the precision and care usually associated with larger markets but anchored firmly in the values of a local, boutique practice. From the outset, the intention was not to be all things to all people, but to specialise in permanent appointments that make a lasting difference to businesses, communities and careers.
The firm has grown steadily, partnering with some of Geelong’s most respected employers, from start-ups and family-owned enterprises through to national organisations with deep roots in the region. Expansion has always been deliberate, because Fruition was never designed to be a volume-driven agency. Each appointment is approached with focus and discretion, and the number of live searches is intentionally capped so that every client and candidate receives genuine attention.
Fruition’s independence is central to its distinction. Free from the distractions of franchise models or multi-office networks, Fruition is able to work closely with clients, tailoring each engagement without compromise. This singular focus on Geelong and its employers, its candidates, its business community, means the firm is not just present in the region but part of its fabric. To say Fruition is of Geelong is no exaggeration; it is within this ecosystem that relationships have been cultivated, reputations built, and trust earned.
What sets Fruition apart is not only its knowledge of the market but its counsel. Organisations turn here for clarity, creativity and candour, knowing they will receive advice that is both commercially sound and deeply attuned to human nuance. It is this combination of rigour, empathy, strategy and insight, that defines Fruition’s story and continues to shape its place in the Geelong business landscape.

Fruition Recruitment was founded by Director, Talent Acquisition & Advisory Lauren Hogan, who wanted to build a local firm that embodied recruitment excellence.
Our values and the way we stick to them is what sets us apart from our competitors. Fruition Recruitment’s mission is to redefine how clients approach commercial growth by helping them expertly navigate complex recruitment markets. Our values are innovation, excellence, community orientation, integrity and passion.
OUR PEOPLE
Beyond roles, careers and transactions, Fruition has always been about people. The firm is guided by its founder, Lauren Hogan, whose career has been dedicated to helping organisations achieve outcomes through talent and leadership. Supported by a trusted circle of specialists across digital, finance, resourcing and administration, Fruition brings together the expertise of a larger firm while maintaining the intimacy and focus of an owner-led practice.
What distinguishes the approach is the care invested in understanding both clients and candidates. Deep knowledge of business models, markets and organisational cultures allows Fruition to act not only as a recruiter but as a partner in decision making. Candidates, too, are engaged with integrity and respect, guided through the process with clarity so that even those not appointed leave with a positive impression. It is this balance of commercial rigour and human consideration that has built Fruition’s reputation as a firm people trust.
Cultural alignment is treated with as much importance as technical competence. Every candidate is carefully considered not just for what they can do, but for how they think, lead and contribute to the culture around them. In this way, Fruition ensures that each introduction strengthens the long-term success of both the individual and the organisation.

OUR COMMUNITY
Fruition was built in Geelong and remains deeply invested in the region. The firm’s work extends beyond recruitment into community engagement, recognising that business success and community wellbeing are interdependent. Partnerships with local councils, industry groups and business bodies ensure Fruition contributes meaningfully to the broader economic and social landscape.
A cornerstone of this commitment is the Fruition First Friday program, launched in 2016, which provides pro bono recruitment advice and support to local organisations on the first Friday of each month. It reflects a belief that expertise should be shared, and that access to quality counsel can strengthen the entire business ecosystem. Appointments are quickly taken up, a reminder that the demand for thoughtful guidance is constant and the value of connection cannot be overstated.
By supporting charitable initiatives, volunteering programs and community projects, Fruition reinforces its belief that the role of business is not only to serve clients but also to shape the environment in which those clients, candidates and communities flourish. To work with Fruition is therefore to work with a firm that sees Geelong not just as a market, but as a community it is proud to serve and represent.
Bookings for the Fruition First Friday program are essential as appointments for the day fill up fast, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to reserve a spot or find out more.
