Fruition Recruitment is a Geelong based, and Geelong exclusive, boutique recruitment firm that specialises in talent acquisition, executive search and talent advisory. With a reputation for providing industry leading results, Fruition works hard to provide a fresh alternative to transactional sales-driven agencies and is a business that clients love working with and candidates trust. We are working on this vacancy on behalf of our client.
About our Client:
Fruition is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading Geelong based IT managed services provider (MSP). Forward thinking, cloud ready and leading with strategy to help their clients drive their business goals and create a roadmap for positive change, our client also takes care of day-to-day IT operations and supports a range of businesses from micro and small in size through to national brands. They also generously reward and recognise their people and foster an innovative culture focused on fun and high performance. An exciting full time opportunity now exists for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to join the team.
About the Culture:
This working environment is one of the best out there. Collaborative, supportive, friendly, trusting and engaging. On one hand the environment is relaxed, casual, down to earth and fun, but on the other, business activity is fast paced and agile with an accompanying growth mindset. While they collectively drive their high-performance culture and have made a commitment to each other to work smarter rather than harder as they continually seek new ways to optimise process and performance for efficiency, you’ll also find loads of well humoured office banter, celebrating success and Friday drinks.
About the Opportunity:
Leading your team from the front, you will be responsible for planning and executing end-to-end demand generation initiatives, including metrics-driven best practices, to acquire new business and client expansion across a wide variety of channels. In order to support the strong growth forecast across both the three and ten year business plans, and by observing the market, competitors and business trends, you will maximise margins and revenue outcomes for the business, represent the business, create competitive advantages, and develop and deliver cross channel marketing strategies that drive and increase service awareness. Working collaboratively with other internal business units, you’ll continue to deliver an exceptional client experience, identify which client segments the business can serve, understand their needs and use these insights to influence the service offering. You’ll spearhead go-to-market strategies across the client journey to convert, grow and retain clients and you’ll own the metrics, track and report on goals, measure performance, and identify opportunities for optimisation. You’ll lead a high performing team, identify team roles and responsibilities necessary for business success, set clear expectations, drive execution discipline through effective management strategies and maintain a highly engaged and supportive team culture to deliver on growth targets. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll contribute at a strategic level, you’ll create feedback channels and close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate to continually learn and improve the services on offer. Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks, you’ll also promote existing services and introduce new services to the market.
Excited by the opportunity to join a supportive, inclusive and market leading business doing amazing things for amazing clients, you’re looking for a role where you can take ownership of the sales and marketing strategy and run with it but also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with broader teams. With a commitment to continuous improvement and a focus on ‘how we do things,’ you’ll have a sound understanding of the drivers of performance across internal and external sales and marketing channels to achieve best practice, awareness engagement, acquisition, conversion and retention goals. With a data driven and analytical mindset, you’ll be able to create required reports to track performance, and with a strong client focus, you have a track record delivering customer driven solutions and implementing initiatives to improve the overall customer experience. Complemented by a strong commercial and business acumen and tertiary qualifications in the field of Business, Commerce or similar, you have exceptional written and verbal communication skills which allows you to adapt to a range of audiences and effectively tailor your approach. Having had experience in a similar role, and a sound understanding of marketing strategies and sales enablement together with experience in cross-functional coordination, you’re also a natural people person. Able to build trust with key stakeholders easily, you’ll have a strategic, collaborative and inclusive approach and be flexible, genuine, accountable, approachable and organised. With advanced leadership and people management experience, you can inspire, influence and motivate others effectively and with confidence and you actively promote a positive organisational culture that promotes and encourages ongoing leadership, learning, skills development and performance excellence.
About the Perks:
With the room and resources to grow this is an excellent opportunity to work in a flat structured team working together to build a top tier business where everyone is respectful and well intentioned, and there is a genuine focus on internal promotion and continuous learning where self improvement and development is both encouraged and celebrated. Onsite parking, fresh weekly fruit and an attractive salary are also on offer for the right candidate.
