About the Opportunity:
Working with a dynamic team, you’ll provide clients with an exceptionally high level of customer service and will further advance and maintain Gartland’s growing portfolio of commercial rental properties. You’ll ensure robust property management strategies are used to underpin key outcomes and will be chiefly responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of assets, end-to-end, including liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors, overseeing arrears management, and conducting routine inspections.

You’ll also complete all administrative work relating to your portfolio of commercial properties including make-good requirements, repairs and maintenance and essential safety measures. Communicating effectively with the wider commercial team, you’ll maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction and will crossover into the commercial sales and leasing departments from time to time to assist with drafting offers to lease or purchase, preparing sale and leasing authorities, coordinating execution of leasing documents, arranging property inspections as well as diary and email management.

About You:
A reliable, focused and committed individual, you’ll have a current Agents Representative Certificate and experience in a similar role, or, you may be looking to make the transition from residential and have some Residential Property Manager experience and a vested interest in working in the commercial space.

Immaculately presented, with a high level of attention to detail and an ability to thrive in a fast paced, continually evolving environment, you’ll be dealing with a wide variety of people on a daily basis, and as such you’ll have a strong customer service orientation, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’ll also have a genuine desire to succeed in the real estate industry, be organised, thorough, highly motivated and have a professional manner.

An understanding of commercial property law and the Retail Leases Act would be advantageous. Please note, we are in a position to consider applicants with a wide range of experience so from Residential Property Managers interested in taking up a Commercial Property Management role, to more seasoned and proven Commercial Property Managers, we encourage all applications.
