Employer Bio:
This growing Geelong-based professional services firm provides specialist audit and compliance support to clients across regulated industries. Known for a consultative and collaborative approach, the team has built strong demand by combining technical rigour with clear communication and practical outcomes. For the right person, this is an opportunity to step into a role that balances structure with variety, and to play a pivotal part in a business that continues to grow its reputation and reach.

The Job:
This newly created position brings together project coordination, client engagement and operational support. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll oversee project coordination and progress tracking, manage priorities across multiple stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to standard.

It’s a role that will see you liaising with clients, contractors and internal team members, keeping communication flowing, preparing and formatting key documents, and supporting senior leaders to stay focused on delivery. If you enjoy being across the detail, anticipating what’s next, and creating order from competing priorities, this role offers plenty of scope to take ownership.

Why You Should Apply:
You’ll be joining a professional services firm at a pivotal stage of growth, with the chance to shape how this role evolves over time. The business values initiative and accountability, but also offers the balance and flexibility to make the role sustainable for the long term. For someone who thrives on variety, enjoys building strong relationships, and wants their contribution to be recognised, this is an environment where you’ll feel the impact of your work every day.

Culture Snapshot:
The culture is professional yet down-to-earth, with an emphasis on collaboration, trust and balance. It’s a team where you’ll be supported to succeed, encouraged to contribute ideas, and valued for the role you play in keeping projects and people moving in the right direction.

Benefits On Offer:

  • Flexibility to work either full time or 0.7–0.8 FTE (25–30 hours per week across 5 days)
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements (Geelong office + WFH)
  • Genuine career progression as the business grows
  • Training and support provided in a specialised sector
  • Supportive, collaborative small-team environment
  • Secure role in a stable, regulated industry
  • Competitive remuneration aligned to experience

Skills Required:

  • Experience in executive assistance, project coordination or client services
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence in client-facing situations
  • Professional maturity, discretion, and sound judgement
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, comfortable taking ownership of outcomes
  • Industry experience isn’t required, as full training and context can be provided. What matters most is being organised, proactive and confident in keeping projects on track, though candidates with exposure to regulated environments are of course welcome.
