About our Client:

Due to increasing demand a rewarding General Manager is now available to join the executive leadership team within this thriving business.

About the Opportunity:
A full time ongoing position, the primary objective of this role is to monitor and manage day to day production, ensuring adherence to deadlines and maintaining quality assurance. Your role will also involve coordinating the general management and operations of the business, while working closely with the Managing Director. You will manage tenders, manage and coordinate subcontractors, evaluate performance and productivity and provide professional input into bid activities. Providing guidance and actively participating in staff development and company culture, you’ll collaborate with sales to identify sales opportunities, attend meetings and events and negotiate contracts and close agreements.

About You:
A motivated professional with significant management experience within a fast paced construction environment, you’ll have proactive leadership skills and can build and maintain a positive culture. You’ll have proven project and time management skills accompanied by strong analytic and problem solving abilities to produce the highest level of results. With well developed interpersonal and organisational skills, you’re self-motivated with a can do attitude and rolled-up sleeves approach. You have demonstrable experience in the construction industry, proven organisation and leadership skills and a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of OHS principles, insurance and risk mitigation.
