We are working on this vacancy on behalf of our client.
About our Client:
Fruition is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading Geelong based IT managed services provider (MSP). Forward thinking, cloud ready and leading with strategy to help their clients drive their business goals and create a roadmap for positive change, our client also takes care of day-to-day IT operations and supports a range of businesses from micro and small in size through to national brands. They also generously reward and recognise their people and foster an innovative culture focused on fun and high and performance. An exciting part time opportunity now exists for an experienced Office Coordinator to join the team.
About the Culture:
This working environment is one of the best out there. Collaborative, supportive, friendly, trusting and engaging. On one hand the environment is relaxed, casual, down to earth and fun, but on the other, business activity is fast paced and agile with an accompanying growth mindset. Here you’ll find loads of well humoured office banter, celebrating success and Friday drinks. Everyone is respectful and well intentioned, and there is a genuine focus on internal promotion and continuous learning where self improvement and development is both encouraged and celebrated.
About the Opportunity:
This unique role provides support to day-to-day administrative duties and ensure a smooth and efficient flow in the office. Working Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm (with flexibility available), this wide-ranging part time role will allow you to take ownership and pride in the day-to-day operations of the office administratively. Tasks are varied and include, for instance, welcoming and acting as a first point of contact for deliveries, visitors and clients, coordinating documentation and communication to clients, maintaining toolboxes, coordinating and receiving hardware, resolving facilities requests or ensuring the office continues to look professional and inviting at all times. Working closely with the leadership team and more broadly with other teams in the business, you will have the opportunity to flex where you are most needed and will truly be the fairy-godmother/father of the office.
Bringing your energy and your passionate and caring nature to the role, you will have demonstrated office administration experience in a similar position, and be accustomed to working in a busy professional environment. With well-developed organisational and time management skills, you’ll have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and are able to develop rapport with all levels across the business. Highly organised and proactive (particularly during any quieter periods), you have a high level of attention to detail, a flexible and committed approach and can work well independently. Underpinned with strong problem-solving skills, you’ll be able to prioritise tasks efficiently, and manage expectations and your time effectively. Positive, adaptable, intuitive and down to earth, you also have a strong commitment to efficiency and enjoy identifying opportunities for improvement. Intermediate skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Suite are preferred and any tertiary qualifications or certifications in business administration or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
About the Perks:
Not always desk bound, with various tasks around the office, this role will provide the variety you have been seeking. In addition to lifestyle part time hours, this position is also offering the opportunity to join a fun and hardworking team, plus enjoy fresh weekly fruit, onsite parking, a focus on continuous learning and professional development, generous remuneration and more.
