You’ll support continuous improvements in teaching and learning, leadership, staff retention and effectiveness, provide trusted ER and IR advice to leaders, and delver workforce practices that optimise organisational effectiveness. Championing change management strategies that support the success of projects, you’ll facilitate the continued growth of a positive and productive workplace culture, and promote a unified approach to staffing across the school, fostering collaboration and effective talent management practices. Leveraging systems and technology to gather and analyse data and develop initiatives that proactively address identified focus areas, you’ll lead the people and capability team, and will also design and deliver employee recognition programs that acknowledge and celebrate achievements, contributing to an overall culture of appreciation and motivation.

You’ll enjoy state-of-the-art facilities, opportunities for ongoing and professional and personal development, generous leave entitlements, staff wellness activities including gym access, yoga sessions and interest groups, access to an extensive Employee Assistance Program, onsite parking, generous remuneration and salary packaging benefits.
A proud, dynamic and nurturing environment with a rich heritage, strong traditions, a warm welcoming community and an exciting future, the culture here is of engaged people of substance and drive, and professionals of competence and passion, collaborating in their mission of cultivating an exceptional learning and teaching environment. Determined to pursue possibilities, they are reimagining learning but balance the desire to be progressive and offer outstanding opportunities for students, with the desire to be wholesome, authentic and personal. Above all, they place value and thought on people, programs and places. Relationships are at the heart of all they do, as are their ideals of courage, compassion and commitment.
With significant experience in a similar wide ranging role (experience in a school setting desirable but not mandatory), you are complemented by tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organisational Psychology or similar, and have extensive knowledge of, and experience in, industrial and employee relations. You’ll have proven experience supporting successful change in partnership with stakeholders, and an ability to use coaching and consulting skills to deliver proactive and pragmatic solutions. A skilled communicator, you can effectively convey information, influence others and build positive, trusting relationships. With a passion to contribute to the employee experience within a valued-based organisation, and with strong analytical skills, you’ll also be able to use data, metrics and analytics to determine and drive priorities and be adept at managing employee relations, conflict resolution and performance management.
