About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for acting as a business partner and conduit between finance and sales by monitoring and reporting monthly sales channel profit and loss and developing tools to track key customer account profitability. Overseeing and managing the brand income statement within the greater business, on a day-to-day basis, you’ll work closely with the business in preparing accurate monthly and quarterly budgets and review forecast variances. On an ongoing basis, you will play a key part in assisting the manager to prepare the medium and long-term strategy plans for the brands and you’ll build business-partnering relationships with various stakeholders, as this will assist you in gathering the right data for your analysis and provide you with the best opportunity to properly influence the business strategy. You’ll also create and develop profitability and pricing tools, produce and review pricing proposals for sales negotiations and be involved with scenario modelling and commentary. Additionally, you’ll develop a dashboard to understand market movements and various margins and look at historical data reviews of the industry and analyse ongoing changes from external influences.

About You:
With proven experience in a similar position and exceptional rapport building skills, you display the ability to internally influence management decision making with their reasoning capabilities. CA/ CPA qualified and a highly analytical thinker you have an entrepreneurial mindset for curiosity and driving growth in a dynamic startup style environment. With outstanding communication and relationship building skills, you are comfortable engaging stakeholders and enjoy true business partnering with a forward thinking organisation. You also have a collaborative approach, strong business analysis skills and commercial acumen to build financial models.  Advanced MS Excel skills are a must and user knowledge of SAP and/ or TM1 is desirable.
