About our Client:
Our client is a leading general insurance group with an ever growing presence. With years of experience behind them, they have identified that many businesses, especially small-to-medium, needed a faster and simpler insurance experience. As a result of this niche offering, this company has undergone rapid and exciting growth and are now looking for a driven Change & Strategy Manager to join the team.

About the Opportunity:
You’ll be responsible for analysing company performance and analysing recent external market, competitor and industry forces to develop recommendations for strategy development and alignment across the company and its divisions. You will take a leading role in strategy planning and development of workable and effective execution roadmaps for strategy. You’ll also lead strategy analysis and stakeholder engagement for strategy development, planning and performance monitoring. You’ll lead programs of work to inform key strategy choices, such as strategic portfolio management, identify what needs to change (and how), then developing a sequenced execution roadmap of activity to deliver the strategy, and governing its execution and lead the assessment of specific strategic opportunities and/ or strategic reviews drawing on a high level of expertise which will drive implementation of strategy. Facilitating discussions with key stakeholders across the business to develop ideas and recommendations, you’ll also craft strategic recommendations suitable for the Board, Group Leadership Team, Executives and other stakeholders based on detailed qualitative and/or quantitative analysis. You’ll then leverage research and analysis to draw out market, competitor and industry insights relevant to the company’s strategy, including opportunities to disrupt or be disrupted.

About You:
With proven lateral thinking skills and an ability to deliver original solutions to complex problems, you’ll be a critical and strategic thinker and have structured problem solving skills and experience. You’ll have experience leading projects collaboratively across multiple business units, have strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate sessions and to challenge ideas constructively and be experienced in senior stakeholder management. With stong financial acumen and strategic analysis skills, you’ll also have experience in strategy consulting, digital or customer-led organisations.
